Good Governance: Mechanics & Dynamics
good governance: mechanics & dynamics
“Andrew is an energetic and creative executive who makes things happen.”
Ian Powling, Digital Programmes Lead, Universities UK
Good governance is fundamental to the success of any organisation and a business, charity or not-for-profit is best placed to fulfil its mission and deliver its plans if effective governance structures, practices and protocol are in place. This requires boards to observe both the mechanics and the dynamics of good governance, i.e. to recognise the value of having in place both practical procedures and positive relationships for governing. Drawing on our experience of supporting public, private and third sector boards, we work with directors and trustees to ensure board processes, behaviours and, ultimately, performance are effective.
